We are Endon Services Ltd. Established in 1977 and based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire UK. In particular, we want you to know that we are not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We just don’t do that sort of thing.
This data policy explains how and why we store customer data, and the measures we take to keep it safe.
If you are part way through a potential purchase, but don’t complete the purchase, the website will record your email address, and we’ll send you a few ‘abandoned cart’ emails, purely to remind you of your potential purchase, and to invite you to complete it.
We don’t sell your email address, or any other data, to any other organisations. Never have. Never will.
Google Analytics is used to analyse the performance of our websites. The data is anonymised, and used purely to help us design our websites to work better, to the benefit of our customers’ experience, and hopefully to allow us to build a better business.
If you choose to register for our email mailing list, we may send you information in the future relevant to our business. The mailing list will not be used to promote any other businesses or services, and will never be shared with or sold to other organisations.
The data is stored on our behalf by our mailing list provider, MailChimp, who are a leading provider of this kind of service, and who comply with all relevant technical and legislative requirements.
We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.
Our websites are hosted by BigCommerce, a leading provider of eCommerce services. BigCommerce play no role in the day-to-day provision of our services, beyond providing the software upon which our websites are based. BigCommerce comply with all technical and legislative requirements pertaining to the storage of personal data.
Our online payments for debit and credit cards are handled by Paypal, and all data is encrypted to industry standards. We have no access to customers’ online payment details – this is encrypted and not visible or accessible to anyone.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. To action this, please email your request to our data protection officer, Mike Aldridge, on [email protected]
